Connecticut Clubs


Boys & Girls Clubs in Connecticut have been in the forefront of youth development for over 145 years, working with young people from disadvantaged economic, social and family circumstances.

In 1860, four Hartford women founded the first Boys Club in America - The Dashaway Club. Today their vision has blossomed into the Boys & Girls Clubs in Connecticut - 16 Clubs, operating some 45 facilities statewide, serving over 62,000 youngsters each day.

Connecticut Area Council


The Connecticut Area Council was established in April 1973 to provide a forum for Boys & Girls Club board members and executive directors within the state of Connecticut.

Connecticut Alliance


The Connecticut Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs, Inc. was established in 2003 to promote the social welfare of the boys and girls that are served by the sixteen Connecticut Boys & Girls Clubs.

For each location, it gives the name of the club, executive director’s name and phone number, fax, e-mail address, street map and directions.
